On one hand, I can count the pictures of just my mom and I. I wish there were more, but I can't change it. I love each of those pictures and I keep them in a special place. The real value, for me, is a tangible memory of my mother's image. I can hold a picture and I can see her eyes. I can feel her warmth and I can hear her laugh.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved family snapshots. The old ones are my favorite. They help one transcend time. Photos are important parts of who we are. They make my life more complete and I want that for others as well.
